This milkshake is creamy, indulgent, and the perfect holiday treat. Some great toppings for whipped cream are grated chocolate, mini chocolate chips, or even a sprinkle of gingersnap powder. It can easily be turned into a grown-up drink by adding vodka, rum, a splash of Kailua or Irish cream.
. 1 ½ cups low-fat vanilla ice cream
. ¾ cup low-fat eggnog
. 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup, add more for garnish
. whipped cream (optional)
Combine the ice cream, eggnog, and 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup in a blender, and process until smooth.
Drizzle some chocolate syrup around the side of the glass randomly, and pour over the milkshake. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
